Well, the usual response to any poll like this is to point out that most people answering it can only name one or two cabinet ministers, and therefore name recognition explains it all. But surely Osborne can’t have lower name recognition than Howe these days, even if Lawson still seems to have some kind of blundering Tory cultural icon status.
